Initial Storyboard

In our group we created our first storyboard for our soap opera trailer. The storyboard includes images of what will happen in each scene, scene duration times, camera shots and whether there will be any sound.

I contributed to this by writing in each of the storyboard boxes what would appear in each one. I also contributed to drawing the images in the boxes.

Characters and Cateogrization

As a group we decided to create a table to show each of our characters and compare them to a character in an existing soap. This will help us to identify who our characters really are and help us to create characters who stick to soap opera conventions. By comparing them to existing characters we can show that the characters traits are previously popular.

I inputted to this piece of work by helping decide which character we could compare our characters too. James Garrod was responsible for creating the table.

Storyline Flowchart

We decided we should make a flowchart to show the different story lines included in our soap opera and how each one links to one and another. This is a good way of showing the relations of the stories and how the characters are connected.

Matt Bigg was responsible for creating the storyline, however I helped by talking with him about how the stories could be connected.
